The unit is designed to last a lifetime when properly maintained.  All of the purifiers feature a five-year mechanical warranty.  Should the unit fail outside of the warranty period, Austin has a repair program.   The filter is designed to last for five years under normal residential use.

The entire body of the air purifier is made of solid steel, which has been welded together to prevent any rattling.  The paint used is powder coating, baked at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.  This process eliminates any odor or off gas emissions while also enhancing the unit’s durability.

If your purifier was manufactured prior to 1996, you can only replace your filter with an Allergy Machine filter.  If your purifier was manufactured in 1996 or later, you can replace your filter with any filter type:  Allergy Machine, HealthMate, HealthMate Plus or Bedroom Machine.

The amount of carbon, the carbon bed thickness, and the amount of True Medical HEPA paper in our filters allows us to achieve a pro-rated five (5) year warranty.  Our filters should last for five years in a normal household setting.
